Heading into the game Jungle Cat Green did not know what to expect. Challenging a bigger and definitely older Flyers team Jungle Cat Green had a lot in store for these Goliaths. After a quick pep talk from their coaches they took it right at the giants. Leading 3-2 after the first quarter with only one sub Jungle Cat Green looked great. It was a back and forth struggle and was 8-6 with about 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter in favor of the Flyers. Green scored one more goal as Justin swam in on a breakaway, picked the ball up with his off hand, faked and scored. Fatigue set in and the final score was 12-7 Flyers. It was a great game by Green. They played great defense anchored by 2 meter defender Chris "I played 4 quarters and I'm not even winded" Kennedy and on the offensive front by double trouble....Michael Sigman and Darrian Castro. There were a couple of miscues in our movement of the ball down the pool. The first rule of passing is eye contact and on 7-8 occassions we threw the ball away because no one was looking for a pass even though they were open and should have been. Both coaches were very happy with the way their crew played. Keep up the good work.
