Black team remains undefeated, squeaks by Daisy

The Jungle Cat Black team continued its strong play in the summer league with an 8-5 victory over Daisy. This was by far the closest game so far for the Cats, but they responded well to the competition. Despite some confusion early in the game matching up with 2M's, the team was able to build a lead thanks to strong play by Player of the Game Marty "Big Game, No Practice" Ruzicka and Michael Hagerty. Coach Tim remarked after the game, though, that the team seemed to play with spurts of apathy and excitement. He left the huddle challenging the team to keep its focus for an entire game.
