The Jungle Cats played 3 totally different games in a long day of action in Southern California.
8-7 loss vs. Davis
The Cats got down early, fought back to tie it and eventually take the lead, and eventually lost on a late 5-on-6 situation. William Page was named POTG for his aggressive offensive plays.

14-8 loss vs. San Diego Shores 'B'
The Cats suffered their first blowout defeat at the hands of a talented, fast Shores team that was able to dominate JCWP in almost every facet of the game. John Heafner was named POTG for his hat-trick effort.

9-5 win vs. Rockford
Finally, in the nightcap for the Cats, the team broke through with a convincing victory against fellow Midwest zone team Rockford. The Cats were again down after the first quarter, but tied it at 4 by halftime, then used a 3 minute offensive explosion in the 3rd quarter to put the game away. John Heafner & Matt Stipanovich led the team with 3 goals each, but Matt Hohenberger's play in goal -- which included 2 blocked 5M penalty shots -- earned him the POTG honors.
